Anywhoooo. This picture depicts Peter Griffin and the chicken from Family Guy. If you aren't already familiar with their intense (to say the least) rivalry, they have a history of beating the crap out of each other. It all started when one day, a chicken outside of a store gave Peter an expired coupon; Peter's rage was the spark that drove him to start a fight with the chicken that promptly destroyed everything in its path, and led to several more fights in future Family Guy episodes (all of which are several minutes long). Good times, I tells ya! It never really gets old.

On a related note, when I went to MangaNEXT last year, I dressed up in a chicken costume and wore a sign that reads, "Have you seen this guy?" with a picture of Peter on it. Despite it being a small con, I was stopped many times over the course of the weekend. XD.

Encouraged by the costume's popularity, I decided I would wear it again at the upcoming AnimeNEXT (which has thousands more in attendance), and had a neat little idea to go along with it. The idea being: I'll be dressing up in costume, and in order to help bring added traffic to my table, every time I get stopped by people or confront con-goers on my own, I'll pass out a "coupon" like the Family Guy chicken, only rather than being expired, the coupon will be good towards one freebie print when redeemed at my table. (Which someone will be watching for me while I'm walking around, obviously.) And this is the freebie print I'll be giving away.

TL;DR: I put too much thought into these things. But maybe it helps, sometimes.

So if you see me at AnimeNEXT next month, you might just get a coupon. Just don't beat the tar out of me like in the show..since, you know, I kinda need my limbs x_x

About the picture: I did this in Photoshop, which should be apparent, I guess. I'm not fantastic with it, but I've been practicing on my boyfriend's tablet. Thank heavens for being able to edit and erase so much! :collapse:
